Meet this week's BCU Featured Stylist! Alissa's work caught my eye because of the beautiful & dimensional blonding work she does!

Let's get to know Alissa! She's a blonding, lived-in color, and beaded weft extensions specialist out of Statesboro, GA. You can find her on Instagram at @alissaerin_hair. I asked Alissa a few questions so I could learn more about her and her journey. Check out our conversation below!!

+How long have you been doing hair? 
7 years 

+Tell me about yourself. Are you a salon owner? Booth renter? Commission stylist? What is your specialty behind the chair. What are your goals?
I am a salon owner/suite renter who specializes in blonding, lived-in color, and beaded weft extensions. I recently moved back home to Georgia and had a baby 4 months ago, so I'm just focusing on creating a balance between work and life.

+What's been the best advice you have ever received?
You won't be the stylist for everyone, and that's okay. Just focus on the services you're most passionate about and your people will find you!

+What do you feel is your greatest strength?
My ability to really listen to what my clients are wanting and try my best to achieve their goals.

+What advice do you have for other stylists?
Own up to your mistakes. If there's something you don't love about a color or cut you've done, be honest with your client and fix it. They'll respect you for it.

+What do you feel is the most valuable part of being a BCU member?
I tend to overthink things and make them harder than they should be. BCU has really helped me become faster, more efficient and just a better stylist overall!
