Meet this week's BCU Featured Stylist! Anna's passion for lived in color and blondes shows in her work!

Let's get to know Anna! She's a lived in color and blonding specialist out of Asheboro, NC. You can find her on Instagram at @annamarlee.cosmo. I asked Anna a few questions so I could learn more about her and her journey. Check out our conversation below!!

+How long have you been doing hair? 
I've been behind the chair for about 2 1/2 months! Graduated cosmetology school this past December.

+Tell me about yourself. Are you a salon owner? Booth renter? Commission stylist? What is your specialty behind the chair. What are your goals?
I'm a booth renter at J. Brewer & Co. Hair Studio. I love doing lived in color and blondes! My current goals are to build my clientele and become more confident behind the chair.

+What's been the best advice you have ever received?
Some advice I've gotten that I try to always remember is that we all make mistakes. It doesn't make you a bad stylist/person so never give up. Learn from it and keep going.

+What do you feel is your greatest strength?
I feel my greatest strength is my willingness and drive to learn more and continue to get better.

+What advice do you have for other stylists?
My advice for other stylists is to never compare yourself or your work to others. We are all at different points in our career.

+What do you feel is the most valuable part of being a BCU member?
I feel as if the most valuable part of being a part of the BCU community is having like minded stylist all coming to this platform to learn and continue to grow. Having a supportive group is so important!
