+How long have you been doing hair?
I started beauty school in 2015, so 9 years.
+Tell me about yourself. Are you a salon owner? Booth renter? Commission stylist? What is your specialty behind the chair. What are your goals?
I'm a commission stylist and I specialize in dimensional, high contrast, and low maintenance hair color. My goal right now is rebuilding my image, brand, and clientele since coming back from maternity leave. My long term goal is to eventually be in the position to educate.
+What's been the best advice you have ever received?
"A smooth sea never made a skilled sailor."
+What do you feel is your greatest strength?
My greatest strength is my drive! I just spiritually can NOT let up from getting something I want.
+What advice do you have for other stylists?
If that shit doesn't make you happy, let it or them GO! Be stingy with your energy.
+What do you feel is the most valuable part of being a BCU member?
Being a BCU member rocks! It's where we all come together to thrive, learn, and grow without any transactional/gatekeeping vibes. Plus, Carly's genuine spirit and the valuable skills she has taught me help me to continue to grow in our industry.
