Meet this week's BCU Featured Stylist! You can tell by the way Felicia presents her work that she has a passion for education and an eye for detail!

Let's get to know Felicia! She's a healthy hair and color correction specialist out of Webster, TX. You can find her on Instagram at @hairbyfeliciateal. I asked Felicia a few questions so I could learn more about her and her journey. Check out our conversation below!!

+How long have you been doing hair? 
20 years

+Tell me about yourself. Are you a salon owner? Booth renter? Commission stylist? What is your specialty behind the chair. What are your goals?
I'm a salon owner/suite renter. I specialize in creating healthy hair and color corrections. I've been working on growing my coaching and mentoring skills while trying to grow my online presence.

+What's been the best advice you have ever received?
Surround yourself with a tribe that inspires you, challenges you to be better, lifts you up, and relentlessly believes in you.

+What do you feel is your greatest strength?
My greatest strength is the deep trusting relationships I build with clients.

+What advice do you have for other stylists?
It's about people. Stay present with your clients and build those relationships. Be the person that celebrates others' wins with them. Never stop growing and learning in your skills.

+What do you feel is the most valuable part of being a BCU member?
There are two big aspects of the BCU program I find value in. The first is the "on-demand" education I can access all the time. I can learn anvwhere at any time. The second part of BCU is that several stylist friends and I will watch the same class and then meet to discuss what we learned, like a stylist book club.

+Anything else you'd like to share?
The master classes have helped me grow beyond just my technical skills and helped me to develop more of my branding, marketing, and customer skills.
