Meet this week's BCU Featured Stylist! The range of Jenna's dimensional color work is simply stunning!

Let's get to know Jenna! She's a lived in and dimensional blonde specialist out of Altoona, PA. You can find her on Instagram at @hairbyjennabrown. I asked Jenna a few questions so I could learn more about her and her journey. Check out our conversation below!!

+How long have you been doing hair? 
15 years

+Tell me about yourself. Are you a salon owner? Booth renter? Commission stylist? What is your specialty behind the chair. What are your goals?
I'm a commission stylist specializing in lived-in and dimensional blondes. My goal is always to keep improving my blends and tones to accurately achieve my clients dream hair.

+What's been the best advice you have ever received?
You don't have to do it all. Find the things that light you up and specialize in them!

+What do you feel is your greatest strength?
I'd say my biggest strength is listening to my clients and being honest. My consultations are detailed, I ask a million questions and ask for hair inspiration photos. We go over realistic expectations and what I feel we can achieve while maintaining the integrity of their hair.

+What advice do you have for other stylists?
Join BCU and never stop learning! I have seen so many stylists continue to struggle and/or completely quit simply because they won't continue education beyond beauty school.

+What do you feel is the most valuable part of being a BCU member?
BCU is worth every cent and minute spent. Carly covers every single thing you could ever want to know about and I've learned SO much from her over the years! From the technical side to the mental side, I am a better stylist because of her vast education.
