Tip outs vs. no tip outs

TO TIP OUT OR NOT TO TIP OUT…that is the question!

Here's what I generally do when it comes to tip outs:

I TIP OUT WHEN:
👉🏼 my client wants a bolder money piece to stand out and “pop”

I SKIP TIP OUTS WHEN:
👉🏼 my client wants a more blended end result and a money piece that blends with the rest of the hair

On my friend pictured above I tipped out the left section and did not tip out the right section so you could see the difference.

The section on the left is more bright and "poppy" where the section on the right is more dimensional throughout.

It's subtle, but sometimes little things like this can make all the difference.
