Where I start my blonding to be more efficient

Something that helped me become more efficient is starting my blonding in the front of the head and here’s why:

I have the most energy at the beginning of the appointment – so I want to put that energy towards one of the most important parts of the head. It sounds kind of silly but think about how you feel at the beginning of the application vs. the end. I never ever want to risk rushing through the money piece/face frame!

I want it to be the brightest in the front – so I want to give it plenty of time to lift! I always start with a really low volume developer so I’m not stressing about over processing the hair.

I never want to be rushing through the face frame – so I make sure that I have plenty of time to do my application. It’s never ideal to rush through any part of the application (obvi) but if I start in the back, I often get lost in the foils and spend way too much time foiling in an area that is barely seen or noticed by the client.
